Baby Rom - she's here at last!

Well she took her time, but was well worth the wait!

Baby Rom was born on Friday 17th March (St. Paddys Day!) at 07:55am, weighing 8lbs exactly - she has beautiful dark hair, bluey/grey eyes and is the pride and joy of her doting parents.

Her name is still being debated, we have a short list of 3, but want to get to know her before we decide!

She was born after a long and arduous induction which started exactly 48 hours earlier. Mum was knackered but narrowly managed to avoid a c-section. She arrived looking unbelievably healthy and pretty, with an apgar of 10-10. She is the cutest baby in the world and keeps her mum and dad up all night Grin

Congratulations romilly and Mr rom. I am so pleased that she turned and that you avoided the dreaded C-section.

Starting parenthood right after a 48 hour labour is not much fun but I am glad that she has already taken her spot in your heart to make up for it!

Welcome to the world little rom. Your parents have waited ages for your arrival! Can't wait to find out what name you choose--it is not an easy process, is it?

JoPG · 26/03/2006 21:05

Congratulations Romilly.
My DD was born on St Patrick's Day 2005, so she has just turned 1!
DH is worried about her getting drunk on guiness and hooking up with drunken Irish men on her birthday in a few years time! Fortunately, she stuck to milk and water this year!
Hope you have a loveyl time with you new DD, and look forward to hearing the name soon.
