She's asked me to post for her, as she'll be in hospital for the next few days.
Seth Peter was born at 10am this morning weighing 7lb exactly. He's in the NNU at the moment as he had some initial breathing difficulties, but he's doing well and should be out of there soon.
Isn't that news??!!

Such wonderful news ... I am not ashamed to have a tear in my eye. Your story touched me so much when I was pg with my dd and I thought about your beautiful Lili-Mae constantly when my little girl was safely in my arms.

OH WOW! Congratulations to the Jangus's! Welcome to little Seth.... and also to Lilli-Mae, his beautiful sister shining down on him.

kid · 19/02/2006 21:36

Has anyone heard from Jangus? I don't think I have seen her back on MN yet.

jangus · 22/02/2006 13:16

thanks everyone.
yeah!!!! at last, we are now at home and seth is doing really well, although he isn't sleeping at night much... but, i don't mind at all, as the main thing is that he is here with us.

i don't want to dwell on what happened after he was delivered, but it would be interesting to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing. i will be back when seth is more settled as my one handed typing isn't too good.

we are just soooo delighted that seth is with us... although you will also understand it is very bittersweet knowing now what it should have felt like bringing Lilli-Mae home.
Thanks again for all the nice messages.

OMG

I was so worried about you.

I think I am going to cry.

Delighted to see you.

Marina · 22/02/2006 13:19

Jangus, if you mean that Seth was fine on delivery but needed to go to SCBU afterwards, something similar did happen to us, and it was doubly upsetting in that dd was also our next baby after a stillbirth. I am so sorry, it must have been a nightmare. Have been thinking of you lots and am delighted to hear you are safe and well and home now
