Minnie has a Girl.....

I finally have my little bundle, Lisa Marie was born on the 6/01/06 at 8:25pm. She is a little angel so cute. She was 7lbs 8oz. Will fill you all in on the birth story when i stop staring at my little girl.

Its the best feeling in the whole world even after no sleep and feeling really weird.

My middle name is Marie too, actually when I think about it my first name is a lot like Lisa!

She is a little gem and cant quiet beleive she is here.

In the end i had to have an induction, So they started me at 7 in the morning by 12 there was nothing moving so they broke my waters!! not nice but forgotten about that now. By 2 i was begging for an epidural so i had that at 3.. I was only 2cm dilated!!! From 3 to 5 i was 7 cm dilated, the epidural only worked on one side so was feeling the brunt of it on one side but the gas and air was helping with that!. But 6pm i was fully dilated and ready to oush but bubs head was not in position! So i started pushing and nothing was moving so the midwife called my obs and i had to have a vacume delivery.. After 20 mins Lisa Marie was born (boy was i glad) Her dad fell to bits as did her mammy. She was 7lbs 8oz and had a head of dark hair!

The delivery was not all that bad, Will do it again.. Its hard work but worth it in the end.
