hi all

i missed posting my story... from July!

My boy was due Aug 18th, but i started getting pains around 7.35 in the evening of the 24th July, finally 30 mins later phoned inlaws to come and look after child number one, so could go to hospital, they arrived after 25 mins, sent hubby home for suitcase (was staying at sister in laws as had builders in house) all that was in the suitcase was 2 tshirts, and one pack of baby grow vests,

Husband drove to us hospital, got to the delivery suite, had to push, 4 pushes and he was out - didnt even get my trousers off and no chance of pain relief! Then i met the midwife. All was ok - 6lb 15 - so good weight

That's a great birth story

I had a similar experience in May when I gave birth to DS2 - mine was 2 hrs 11 mins and also just got to the hospital in time to push him out!

Belated congrats and whats his name?
