I'd like to hear more about the birth if you're up to it? I love a good birth story.

And I meant it, brilliant names.

Love the names Jonah and Seth!

Welcome to the world

Had a show, posted on here.

Started having recognisable but faint conx at about one ish. Every ten mins and lasting a min. Posted on here again!

Mum was here, took Seth. Which was good.

Rang hospital. Knew didn't want to leave it too late cos only had four hr est labour with Seth and car journey was hell. Set off for hospital and got there 445. Still contracting getting more frequent and painful but nit regular and not the OMFG of established labour.

Had to getmonitored and ABs for GBS were put in at six. That was horrible, really hated hated canula. Then it all kicked off painwise and I got on the gas and air. Love love love entonox. Mmmmm.

Did a lot of wild animal pacing in a cage. DH was fab. Was v upset about not being in MW unit with pool cos of GBS. They did let me in the bath though. Conx were so strong and frequent then (about 7.30?) that gap if G&A while getting in was horrible

Doorbell, post more later

How lovely! Congratulations!! Smile

BellaBearisWideAwake · 05/04/2011 10:34

Had the most hideous pain while in the bath that I forgot to use the drugs and that broke my waters. Yelled like a banshee and the entire staff came running. Well, at least three mws anyway. Lifted out of bath. Kept sucking the gas. Really needed to do a poo. Dud a poo, possibly in the corridor as I was manhandled back in my room from the bathroom.

Told to get on the bed. Said there is no was I'm getting on the bed. Poor DH I was leaning on him, they all felt sorry for him! Apologised to DH, mws all laughed.

Was pushing, hurt so much. Felt head, pushing stage was 25 mins. Delivered standing up. Jonah born at 8.10 pm weighing 8 lb 5. Cried straight away, fed soon after. Spit of his brother.

Bit garbled but there you have it!
