.... right, so you all know its a girl, Rebecca Alison, born today at 12:15am, weighing 7lbs 4oz.

Well, first few niggles started at 4.45pm yesterday - thought i had overdone it with Jess as had been lifting her a lot earlier on.

Was in absolute agony by 6.30pm and they were coming every couple of minutes.... im still convinced its all going to stop, when dh cant stand it anymore and phones hospital. mw phones me back and says she will meet me at the hospital. I get to the hospital at 7.40pm and am 3cm..... by 9.10pm i was up to 6cm and mw broke my waters and discovered baby was coming face first! doctor basically says it can be done naturally, but could be cause for emergancy c/s.... at this point i couldnt give a damn..... gas and air was not working so i demand an epidural...... IT DIDNT BLOODY WORK!!! That will teach me..... it took the edge off for about half an hour, but then was back to full blown contractions just as they decided i was fully dialated and could start to push!

No time wasted - less than 5 mins pushing and she was out - appearing lips first! very puffy face for the first few hours, but it gone down a lot now.

not sure if ive missed anything, but one handed typing takes bloody forever!
