Cord prolapse must have been frightening - were you in the hospital at the time Diane? Congratulations and welcome to Dylan

congraulations and what a lovely name i wanted that name if had boy but didnt go right with dads last name

I was admitted to hospital for induction as was 11 days over, all was fine given prostin gel and things were moving in the right direction although labour suite was busy so wasnt taken dow until 11pm to have my waters broken!! All was fine with that for a wee while but heartbeat soon started dropping with each contraction, initially mw wasnt worried as it sorted its self pretty quickly but things were getting a little worse as time went on DR came and said i should have a section then did examination at which he said it was a crash section, he could feel the cord. MW had to keep babies hed off the cord until birth which wasnt the most comfotrable, ive never been so glad to be put out.
