Chloe Ava arrived at 11.24pm on 28 August after a two and a quarter hour labour which was very painful and intense (doing things that fast is not to be recommended!) I wasn't allowed to give birth on all fours as apparently she would have shot out and torn me to pieces (ouch) She was 8lb 14oz exactly like her brother. She's sleeping much more than ds ever did at this age thankfully and having some problems latching on but otherwise everything going ok. Just have to get my head round having two of them.....

well done... what an excellent birthday to have!

Congratulations Em32 - don't understand the rationale behind not being 'allowed' to deliver on all fours! Most likely midwife not used to it. Hope you get help with the latching. Well done

Congratulations and welcome to little Chloe

She shares her birthday with my ds2!

Congratulations! My ds was born on 28 August 2002 and was also 8lbs 14oz - not such a quick labour although my dd was rapid and know what you mean about a precipitous labour being intense and very painful. Anyway, best of luck with it all and congratulations again!
