It's not Fathers Day tomorrow in Australia where my dad lived, but I'll be thinking of you Dad xxx

And DH is away so our girls haven't even got their daddy here

I will be having a stiff gin in memory of my father and I might even have cold leftover curry for breakfast - one of his many legacies .

Found it very hard to see all the Fathers day stuff in the shops today.

Thinking of mine too (it's only been a few months since he died) and all of you who have lost your dads.

Thinking of mine too. He died when I was 12, and although I love the fact that the Dc make a big fuss of DH on Father's Day it makes me a little bit sad that I can't do the same for mine

Hi , only been a few months since my Dad passed away aswell. Just switched off from Fathers Day cards this year. Although did bring myself to buy one for the DS for DH. I did tell my Dh that I would not be buying a card for FIL, his father his repsonsibility , I also do this with Mothers Day as I have also lost my Mum.

Will be raising a glass tonight.

Happy Father's Day

Dear Dad - three years have gone by and I still miss you so much. Am thinking of you. Can't face seeing my f-in-law and the other happy family as I have lost both parents since 2007. Aren't anniversaries hard? Best wishes to all who are thinking and grieving today.

2nd Fathers day without you today Dad. Finding it very hard (especially as no-one has even acknowledged that it may be difficult for me - just need a hug).

Glad that you are out of pain though and watching down on me, my mum, my husband and your precious granchildren up there on your cloud.
