My colleague was murdered

I don't know what to do.

We worked very closely together recently this year and I miss her.

I am lucky enough to have not had any family or close friends die since I was a child and I don't know how to deal with it. I keep bursting into tears. I'm so angry. We have support at work but I don't want it. I just want her.

Not sure anyone can suggest anything but I needed to rant

I'm so sorry for you, i can't really advise you but didn't want to read and run. Maybe you'll feel like using the support when things start to sink in, do you have anyone close to you to talk to?

terriblysad · 07/05/2010 20:41

I have talked to family and they are lovely but I don't think they really understand. Colleagues are shocked and emotional too. I just can't imagine it feeling any better, having to go to work everyday and not her being there. One day she was here, bouncing around and giggling and then someone killed her.

It's so unfair.

Do they have anyone under arrest?

terriblysad · 07/05/2010 20:42

Yes, they do.

I should have said thank you for the replies. Sorry.

Thank you.

If you feel like you can bear it I would use the support they offer.

You must still be in shock.

terriblysad · 07/05/2010 20:46

I am sure you are right. Thank you.

I just have nothing to say. I am angry that someone hurt her. I want her back. And then I cry.

Life is really really shit sometimes. I know that unfair and angry feeling, you want to make someone pay and you can't

wukter · 07/05/2010 20:50

Thats so so sad. A friend of my DD lost her mum last year and for a while it was just awful, really horrible. I felt that trying to help (the family?)in some way gave me something positive to do. In time it does get easier although my exp was not like yours but I still remember how bad it was.I am so sorry.

Hassled · 13/05/2010 19:54

I'm so sorry. Give it a while longer and then would you think about bereavement counselling?

cocolepew · 13/05/2010 19:55

How awful, I'm so sorry.

Mamalade · 13/05/2010 20:26
