Goodbye Mog is quite good. Using the Mog cat character to explain about how you get old and then aren't there and that things change but that's okay.

Badgers parting gifts is a perfect book for approaching bereavement.

this is a lovely book
not exactly about bereavement but gets the message across that she will always love them "no matter what"
hth and very sorry to hear about their gran.

Thank you for your help, i have made some choices including the badger one, and one called gentle willow, also a book called tell me something happy before i go to sleep which has nothing to do with dying but hopefully is a nice feel good book.
