I don't know what to write on wreath message

I am responsible for sending flowers from my side of the family to my great aunt's funeral. She was much loved but rarely seen and very private. This part of the family has an extremely strong stiff upper lip and the message should be on the formal side. My mother has criticised me for being too emotional at funerals (she thinks its disrespectful...................)

I tend towards the sappily over-emotional. Could anyone help me with dignified, formal wording for someone in their 80's.

The most formal things I can think of are

"In loving memory"
"Rest in Peace"

''In Loving Memory of Great Aunt XXX from ...' ??

Ask you mother what she wants on the card?

Or

"In memory of a much loved Aunt"

actually, when my grandma died, I asked for this piece by Tagore to read at the funeral.

I wonder if it's short enough?

I think I'll just go with in loving memory. Feels odd as I felt very close to this aunt and would love put more.

WOuld also love to ask my mother but she is very ill herself at the moment. Just didn't want to get it wrong on her behalf as she takes these things very seriously.
