my best friend has lost her son [my godson]

he was 17 and killed in a motorbike accident on friday.i've been with my friend and her dd who's the same age as mine [4] today and i feel so sad my heart aches to see what she's going through.for 12 years it was just the 2 of them and she's been a fab mum.i'm going to spend the day with her on tues just to help out with her dd,cleaning etc.no one should have to bury their children,life is so precious x

That is terrible. Even worse in a way that the two of them were a team for so long- she must feel very lost

hi sorry not posted for a while it's my godsons funeral tomorrow and i feel sick at the thought of having to see my best friend bury her son.i've been struggling since the weekend as my aunts had to go into loros we thought we were going to lose her at xmas but she's battled on and has been told it is only a matter of weeks now.i feel emotionally drained and so tired as i'm not sleeping very well.

How very sad ~ I really feel for you. Take care and remember to look after yourself, sounds like a few people are going to need your support but don't forget yourself too.
