My mum, Uncle and Aunt did just after my grandad passed.

They found it very comforting and took it as him telling them he was alright.

Part of me would like him to let me know too (but part of me def doesn't!)

My best fiends mum died of cancer when we were 18, i was awake in my room the night she died listening to the radio, the radio started to flicker (making a odd sound) i turned it off and went to sleep, the next day i was told that she died around the time my radio went odd. I always thought it was a sign.

A few years latter i lost my aunt to cancer, she loved christmas (she was one of those who decorated her house with 100 lights), she died on chrismas day. At her funeral the weather was horrid, the sky was full of black cloud but the second they lowered her coffin into the ground the sun apeared from nowhere, it was like the sun had come out for her and it made us all smile .

the day my mam died of cancer, i went back to her apartment afterwards because i felt like spending the night there. she always kept things spotless and the place was always exceptionally neat and clean. i remember walking into her bedroom and turning on the light and there was a huge black slug beside the bed on the floor beside her slippers. i own the apartment now and havent seen any insects in the apartment since, it struck me like it was something really sinister, like the cancer
