Well we have made it to six months since steve died.

i wasn't sure we could get to here but we have and i am glad that we have made it.
the kids have been pretty amazing really given their autism, they are doing very well and if they can do it then so shall i.
this is not what we chose for our future but it is what we have, whilst the last couple of years have been very difficult, i am begining to not be so fearful of the future, i am not sure where this path will take us and i don't really understand how we were given this path, but it is the path we have been given for whatever reason and we will try and skip down it rather than lay on it screaming that life is not fair.
i know that Steve would be proud of us all and in some way that is a comfort.
thankyou all for all the words of kindness and wisdom that you have given to our family over the last couple of years, it has help us to not feel so alone.

Hey OJ (am in disguise) I didn't do trifle 6 months ago as was having a hard time with this and that, but I AM doing trifle for Xmas day so will eat it in his memory.

What a journey you have endured OJ. I can't believe it's 6 months already.

I think of you and MB so often and I'm glad you're doing OK. I hope Xmas is all you wish for and vetter than you hope.

in some ways 6 months has gone quickly but in other ways it seems like a life time ago, i think our life is so very different now nothing seems or feels the same.
we need to get away for christmas, In-laws still causing problems and i know they will only get worse around christmas, thou not sure they can get much worse after there lastest stunts.

so very sorry to see youe inlaws are still giving you a hard time oj, lets hope they give up soon.

yes i hope they give up soon, but not sure they will, we have made it to 6 months and we will carry on and do the best we can in spite of the inlaws, we are made of strong stuff thank goodness.
