My cousin died 22 years ago yesterday....................

He was only 11, and I was 10. I remember the day so vividly.

It's weird for me to be so sad actually after all this time, but yesterday I visited family and paid a visit to his grave. Also visited my aunt (his mum) and as a parent now, it became clear to me that you never get over the loss of a child.

Life should not be about burying your child should it?

Hugs to you.
Loss does not become less painful, it becomes more manageable, not so raw and less intrusive in my opinion, but still hurts.
