Even tho you were up to your eyes in nettles and overgrown churchyard you were still able to spare a min and listen to me ask you if you had min to please cut back the nettles by the babies grave, where my dd is also buried.
As I cam e out of playgroup I noticed not only were they cut back but headstones gleaming in the sun and fresh flowers in the vase.

Thank you you lovely chap.

How lovely of him to do that, and have it all sorted out and made nice again.

How kind, how wonderful when people take time to do something that means so much to others.

Acts of kindness like this restores your faith in human nature doesn't it?

Lovely story

To be fair as well, it is perhaps not a job I would want, being the gardener of a churchyard, peaceful I spose but very sad.
He was so sweet to me, gave me his condolences etc I didnt really expect all that he did within the hour or so I was in playgroup.
There are still some very good people in the world.

some good people out there.

chocolatespiders · 24/06/2008 18:52

how lovely

have you seen him there before.....

iMum · 24/06/2008 18:53

Ive seen him from time to time, mostly mowing the lawn-but this was the first time ive spoken to him, normally I just wander up the path to the hall for playgroup or leave my flowers for dd and leave.
