Today would have been my daughters 5th birthday

I posted before about my daighters passing and recent funeral. Today she would have been 5. My husbands way of coping is to throw himself into work. I haven't gone back yet. Today is really hard. I miss her so much. I didnt know it could get any harder
Has anyone been through anything similar? Is it going to get easier? Im sorry I'm just so lost

So sorry op. You ask is it going to get easier? Well I can only speak from a professional perspective but it will be less raw, you’ll be able to remember the good times with a smile, but easier is not the right word. Everyone is different, we process things differently, and for many work is a distraction but inside is a different situation. I hope you can find that space now you need and in time to come your daughter’s memory will brings smiles to your face rather tears. I have clients who now can tell me all about their child joyfully rather than sobbing, if that help op. Thinking of you, take care

I'm so sorry you lost your lovely daughter. I can understand what your husband is doing but it's not helping you, is it? Have you anyone to talk to about your daughter? Can anyone be with you today?
