It's my mum's birthday

It's my lovely mum's birthday today. There's no one else to remember except me. She died next week 7 years ago. She's was always so pleased to be a 12th night baby and would never take the decs down until after as it made her birthday more special. I just wanted to tell someone.

Thank you! You've all made me smile! After many years of her not understanding why I like red wine she finally succumbed to mulled wine rather gracefully so I'll take that glass thank you. I miss her so. X

Just seen this. I love and miss my (midsummer birthday) Mum so much too. She died in July 2021, but it’s not got easier yet really. 12th night is a great day for a birthday (shared with Sherlock Holmes). Love to you and to your lovely mum. Look after yourself. Cherish the memories and try to find the joy amidst the sadness. Easier said than done though I know.
