Thinking of all those grieving at the moment
It's really hard .
I've just lost my Grandad. We were very close and I saw him often.
During his last months - I fed him raspberries , soup , ice cream and wotsits in hospital
He was over 80.. he had , had a very good life and had , had enough of being in pain etc.. he was tired too
Will miss him so so much though
We were so so lucky.
He was so kind , so funny.. he always had time for me .. always made me laugh
..
He used to be scared of death but in april in hospital he said to me " we all have to go sometime you know " .. he made peace with it ..
He passed peacefully with very attentive nurses... it's the most significant loss I've had to deal with in the last 15 years
.. going out with his partner for some food next week but yeah .
Hard times
If he was here , he would tell me to get a grip and not be so sad.. just hard when you try to process when someone you loved is gone forever
