Do you keep the rubbish pictures?

Of your loved ones, after they've gone? You know the blurry ones, or the ones where they look especially frail or sick, or the ones where they're just in the background with some randomer in the way? Assuming of course you have plenty of really nice ones too.

Yes, definitely.

Goodness, no. I went through all my photo albums and only kept really nice photos. Stuck them in albums in chronological order and labelled so people are identifiable. Just keep the really nice ones. You can’t keep everything belonging to your loved ones.

No, I don’t keep the bad ones. I’d rather have 20 really great photos than 200 crap ones.

I have all my historical family photos (starting with late Victorian ones of great grandparents) and am ruthless with the plethora of bad 70’s and 80’s pics. I’m slowly getting them in some sort of order, names and dates written on the back etc.

I love old photos and feel a bit sad that future generations will be wading through thousands of smart phone snaps.
