Christmas cards to Mum. How to reply?

Mum died this past spring. We have received around 20 Christmas cards addressed to her, from people who obviously don't know. We want to reply to them but none of them are from people we know well ourselves. Can anyone suggest a wording/method of doing this? & do we send them her obituary?
Not sure what to do. We have all been so sad on this first Christmas without Mum and I can't really think clearly.

Dear (insert name)

I am Mrs Fizziwig, I am writing to you because you very kindly sent a Christmas card to my mum , (name). I am so sorry to have to tell you that sadly mum died in (month) 2021. As I am sure you will appreciate it was a difficult time for us all, made harder that Covid meant we were unable to ask people who knew and loved mum to join us to celebrate her life at her funeral .

I would just like to thank you for sending mum such a lovely card, she loved Christmas and always enjoyed receiving cards from her many friends.

With very best wishes to you for a happy, healthy and peaceful 2022

Ps from me So sorry for your loss, the first year is especially difficult as there are so many firsts you have to get through without your mum.
