My cycle is all over the place - I sometimes go 14 weeks with a period. When I do have one it is so light I hardly need protection and only lasts 2 or 3 days.
Me and DH were a bit lapse with contraception last month and I started to think, maybe even hope, I might be pregnant.
But a few days ago I got really bad stomach cramps and with the cramps were gushes of bright red blood, literally soaking through my tampax and clothes. I had to walk back from the school with my DS's bag infront of me! Then the pain would stop and so would the bleeding, until a few hours later more cramping and gushing. That was for two days then for the last couple of days just the tiniest amount of brown blood and clots.
This period was only one week late whereas I usually don't have one for at least 8 weeks each time.
Am going to the docs about something tomorrow anyway..think it's worth mentioning?
