Can I just show my beautiful boy off please

I want to show him off, if that's ok.

Its been a long time since anyone but me has acknowledged him. Sorry the photos aren't too great, there were no camera phones in the 90s so I had to take a picture of a photo.

He would be 23 now, and as handsome as his little brother no doubt.

He was so beautiful, he was a skinny wee tall boy, all eyes and feet 😂 he was tiny but his eyes were huge and he had ginormous feet.

Everyone always said he has wise eyes, and an old soul. I really felt he was an old soul too.

He fought so hard through his illness, but he was taken from me anyway.

He was cremated in his green top and green socks, that was my favourite outfit on him.

He is still so loved and missed every day. I adored him, my first born, my precious baby boy, he changed my life, he made me a mum, he taught me what love is, and now that love has no place to go so it has turned to grief.

Your posts have made me have a little cry. Your love for him is so far reaching, and your description of his personality really matches his expressions in the photos!

Please don't think people expect you to be 'over' losing him, or that no one ever thinks of him. One of my friends at primary school died nearly 19 years ago now, and I still think about him, and his parents. I don't live locally or have any means to contact them so could never tell them I think of him, but I do, and I always will. Just like there will always be more people than you think remembering your boy ❤️

Those deep, soulful eyes. You can feel the love you have for him through your posts, so heartwarming.

(currently WFH and trying to hide the tears in my eyes from my DH, who will wonder why I'm crying at the spreadsheet I was working on until I decided I needed a quick MN break..)

OP I have been crying unstoppably this morning reading your messages. Your beautiful, precious boy. I'm so sorry for the deep ache in your heart at losing him. I pray for an afterlife where you'll be reunited, and in the meantime for so long as you live the memory of your wonderful cheeky boy will live on too. I haven't talked about him in a long time, nobody wants to listen anymore, so I'm very grateful that you've all given me the chance, and that you've taken the time to look at his photos and allow me to share my boy.
