On a journey to wholeness

In trying to make sense of these emotions, and my journey to wholeness, I decided to start Balanced Wheel - a platform where I share my honest experience with the grief of loss as a young, widowed Black father from Nigeria. Navigating my new normal as a single parent, and everything else in between through blog posts, videos, and eventually, a community.

In addition to sharing my personal journey, I believe that many of the resources I've discovered deserve a wider audience since I found that the necessary information for bereavement and grief work is scattered and also there’s limited information for Black ethnic young widowed parents like myself.

Oh how beautifully you write Flowers

I'm so incredibly sorry to read about your best friend, your absolutely beautiful wife's passing. What a gorgeous smile... So infectious that it seems to beam through my screen. You're such a talented young man. You've got such immense depth in your style of writing.

Lots of love to you and your beautiful children. Believe me you have a purpose because He has made us all with a purpose! If it is in writing you find your peace, please continue to do so as your words are so pure...

@BubbasMumma

Thank you for you kind words of encouragement. I am grateful.

This year has been a rude shock to many families like mine and I wonder if you could help share the website with anyone in your circle who may also be on the path to find healing like I am.
