What do I tell my 3 year old

I've just lost my brother
What do I tell my 3 year old when she asks about him . So far she has not said much . BUT WHAT DO I SAY !!??

I am sorry to hear about your brother.

When my FIL recently died, we told dd that he had died and that she would not see him anymore and that everyone was very sad about this. We also said to ask us questions if she wanted to. I tried not tell give her too much info in case she found it confusing.
