I'm absolutely gutted to have to tell you all the Vio's son James passed away this morning at 9.10. He was born with a skin condition, EB, but was such a brave little boy.

Lord surround Vio and family with your love and comfort now that baby James is with you.

So Sorry Vio, James was an incredibly lucky boy to have you and MrVio as his parents.

Vio, I do not know why I clicked on this thread and I'm sorry but I hadn't seen any of your earlier ones. Am a sporadic Mumsnetter.

But having read the thread I did want to see your letter to JimJim and his photo. I think the letter you wrote to him is the most beautiful and moving thing I have ever read. And his picture is utterly gorgeous. He was truly the most beautiful baby.

I have lit a candle for him at home here, I don't feel its inappropriate that I never knew him or know you at all. I am just so moved by your story.

He was clearly a blessing and so lucky to have such a wonderful family.

Your letter to James brings tears to my eyes, Vio, and your graciousness in the face of such sadness is as beautiful as your precious little boy. What haunting eyes he has, so beautiful.
