My lovely dad

My lovely dad passed away a week ago after a dad being in hospital for 3 weeks recovering from a brain aneurysms.

Although on the surface I'm ok my heart hurts.

Coupled with Covid 19 where I work looking after key worker children and the fact that the ivf we were due to have next month was cancelled I get why but things are spiralling in my head.

@missingmydad don't feel bad grief is crippling at times children are much more robust than you think.

It's my birthday today and feel so pointless.

Yesterday should have had ivf appointment with concent signing and start date a week later.

Dads funeral is next week.

I feel calm today for the first time in days. Yes i miss dad like mad but I am calm and more relaxed today.

Sorry to read about your Dad, I happened to come across your post. My Mum died on Sunday after suffering a brain aneurysm 8 weeks ago. I’m so sorry you have had to go through the same thing💐 the world feels very different without her in it

My lovely dad passed on Sunday and I feel like I'm trapped in a neverending groundhog day. I made it till 4pm today, sorting funeral and all associated things but I am broken again now. My best wishes to you all
