Has anyone else had this happen to them and had a positive outcome?

I have searched the web and the future for beanie is not looking good

I am being realistic so would appreciate advice and what to expect from anyone....

how awful for you. I have nothing useful to offer but thinking of you and hope the doctor is communicating with you about the prospects. Perhaps someone here will be able to offer a positive experience.

hello oinker.. I am crossing my fingers for you.
Apparently a heartbeart under 85 beats per min is not a great sign, but it is not a hugely reliable indicator of something going wrong, particularly so early on... so it may be that beanie is just a laid back baby?

I have researched it too.

I am praying that Beanie will be one of the lucky ones. He has to be.

This is the first time i have seen a heart beat.

I have had six m/c's and no live births. Last pregnancy a year ago (twin) supposedly had a heart beat but I strugled to se it. I think it was just a fuzzy screen.
i saw beanies though and it was beautiful. it didn't look slow to me but I suppose the experts know best.

Thanks for the support ladies.

oinker, I'm so so sorry you're haivng this worry. I saw your name on the pg after mc thread, didn't realise how many babies you'd lost.

I have no experience, but just wanted to lend some support and send you some virtual hugs. I hope things are OK with your bean.

Are you going for another scan soon?

No advice but good luck and huge hugs to you. What you have been through is just awful - you are a brave lady and deserve this Beanie to grow.

When I went for a very early scan at 6 weeks, the heartbeat was there but they didn't comment on the rate whether fast or slow.

oinker try to keep positive between now and wednesday, although i know that's easier said than done. did you not get a scan report? i know my early scans had a report with size, hb etc on.

fingers and toes crossed for you {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

They did fill out a scan report.

The consultant only said the good indicator was that beanie was exact size for weeks

A very close friend of my family had seven consecutive miscarriages and went on to have three beautiful children. I know anecdotes might not feel very helpful while you are so worried but I just wanted to say never give up hope.
