I didn't realise how painful it would be.

My Nan died last year and starting the new year without her has been so horrible.

It may sound strange but I feel like she has really now been left in the past.

Whilst most were celebrating the new year I was led in bed crying. It's like I've lost her all over again.

I'm so sorry if anyone else feels this way too Thanks

So sorry for your lossThanksI do know how this feels - I lost my dad in September and feel exactly the same. Starting a year that he won't be a part of is just awful and sad. Everyone tells me it gets easier somehow...eventually x
