dying mum has requested a hymn I don't recognise.....

Does anyone know a hymn with a title something like..."there is another lovely place". She says it's about moving on but may/may not mention heaven. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, it could be that. I will try to find a recording and play it to her. I don't go to church with her so unsure if modern or older. Thanks.

What tradition does she come from? (Ie church of england/Scotland/catholic/Methodist etc as sometimes that helps narrow down)

It is quite an old one, my Mum had it at her funeral. It’s by Issac Watts.

So sorry that I did not return to close this thread and thank everyone for their suggestions. I never did discover the hymn mum was referring to but we had a lovely service nonetheless. She died peacefully last October. At the end she was on a lot of medication and quite confused so I’m not sure if the hymn really ever existed or it was just in her mind. Thanks again and my thoughts are with anyone dealing with bereavement at this time. X
