I miss my nan so much

My Nan passed away a couple of months back.

I've spent every day since thinking about her. I feel so heartbroken.

I have so many regrets about not seeing her when she was ill and sometimes I struggle to breath where I'm crying so much.

I feel like this pain will never stop.

I just needed to write this down as I'm finding it hard to talk to anyone in person.

Sorry to see no one has responded to you yet and I'm so sorry for your loss Thanks

If you're finding the bereavement process too difficult please don't be afraid to ask for help, even though it is completely normal. There are people that can help you deal with it like support groups and GP. See how you feel over the next few days and weeks even make a note of how you're feeling or come back on here to speak to us.

So sorry for your loss. It is hard but try to think of the pain you feel as love. That way when you hurt you connect with the love you shared. Forgive yourself and just know you did the best that you were able. Guilt helps no one. Writing how you feel down is a great idea. I wrote the following after some one I loved greatly died. Hope it helps:

You on your bean bag in the sky...

I feel your loss so keenly,
I am forever changed.
My heart overflows with love,
I am eternally grateful for the time we shared.

You live in my heart now.
I don't see you but you are with me always.
I miss seeing you, hugging you and talking with you.
No one puns like you do.

I speak to you all the time.
I only ever seem to say
I love you so much,
I miss you with all my heart.
Sometimes I smile.
Sometimes I cry.

I am blessed to have had you in my life.
I will never forget you.
I believe in my heart that we will meet again.

How will I live with this pain?
It's a measure of the love we shared.
You are so worth the pain my dear one.
I wouldn't change it for it reminds me of you.

My most treasured friend
My partner in crime.
Such fun and laughter we shared together over the years, Such adventures, such kinship.
These memories sustain me now.

God bless you always
No longer here, but out in the universe
Beyond pain and remembered with love...
