My wonderful mil has passed away today and I'm not quite sure what to do . The children have gone to school and my husband has headed off to be with his dad and siblings
I feel lost. I feel like he should be here by I know he needs to go to. I don't know what to do. Just keep bursting into tears sat watching cbeebies while the baby tries to climb into the TV

Have a good cry. Nothing wrong with that. Get it out and brace yourself for when the DCs come home.

You don’t have to do anything. Grief has no script. I’m very sorry for your loss. Flowers

How are you feeling now Flowers?

I found each individual minute of the first day to be the worst as they can stretch out for an eternity and the pain hit me in waves constantly through the day which can be exhausting - be kind to yourself and just breath. It's a start. Allow yourself to grieve. Try to be a listening ear for DH and allow him to be the same for you x
