I wrote this poem tonight

I want forever but I'd settle for
A day together , if we could, or
Even an hour out of any day
When I could hold you again and say
How much I regret not telling you how
Much I loved you then and now
I'm sorry for all the wasted time
When I didn't say I was glad you're mine
I know my wish just can't come true
And I'll never get to just hug you
But I can't explain how this can be
Yet somehow I know you are here with me

Thankyou. Been feeling v low lately so it helped just to get my thoughts out

Love and thoughts. It just really hits you sometimes, doesn't it. I sat earlier sobbing for my dad. Even though he was ready to go and I know he's at peace, and No I wouldn't bring him back. It doesn't hurt any less, though.
