What help is out there for a young widow?

I know someone who very recently lost her husband to cancer. She has 2 young children and no money.

What help/organisations are out there to help? I am thinking possibly a holiday?

Lots of people have recommended WAY (Widowed and Young) to Yorkiegirl and others in that situ.
