Has passed away. She was 20. A beautiful soul who kept my friend going. I've no idea how to help and what to do. I want to help my friend who has lost her daughter and show how much she meant to me but not try to intrude on her grief like you see so much on social media at times. I feel heartbroken but this is my friends grief and I want to show I care but not try to make things about me. How can I help here

So sorry for your loss

I'd ask her if she wants help with th arrangements, if she'd like you to go with her to register the death for example, or to the funeral directors , help her choose music , or just offer to cook her a meal

It's just hit me. Can't stop crying. How do people who lose a child not just curl up and die. It's beyond me how anyone can survive such pain.
