I feel so sick thinking about it. Her daughter was driving - they were only going to drop a friend home. not sure why i'm posting this really. Just can't think straight.

I could cry for you, oranges and Aloha. Its just so sad, especially for the grandchildren.

Its so senseless too, what a waste. You just never do know when its your turn. I hope you have support and comfort from your friends and family.

Be strong, thinking of you.

oh aloha.

I can't even think of the fact that she has gone yet. I just keep thinking of the crash. Her husband fell to the floor when he saw her body.

aloha that's very very moving. I saw an interview with a man who was almost beaten to death by a random thug in the street...a meeting was arranged with the woman who found him and called for an ambulance, at some risk to herself. it was really moving. I'm sorry the trial is stretching out in front of you, it must make it very very hard for you & your family, x

Oranges, so sorry for your loss, what a horrible waste. My prayers are with you, her daughter and the rest of your family.

Oranges and Aloha, I'm so sorry for your loss. It is so much more difficult to deal with such a needless waste of life isn't it?

My Grandmother and mother were killed 29 years ago by a dunk driver who crashed into them at a bus-stop, killing my Grandma immediately and throwing my mother over a wall and hedge, meaning that though still alive she wasn't actually discovered until 2 hours later, after my father told police she had been there too. She died of her brain injuries after 6 months in a coma.

The man who killed them was given a 6 month suspended sentence, and banned for 3 years. Fortunately sentences nowadays are much harsher, and whilst it won't bring them back, at least the bastards who killed them will be unable to cause any more grief for quite some time.

Oranges, what a terrible thing to happen, I am so very sorry for your loss, and sympathise immensely with you wanting to scream and feeling frustrated at being so far away.

Aloha, I'm so sorry, I didn't know about your father, how absolutely awful for you and your family. xx
