Has any one visited a psychic?

I'm a major sceptic. Major. But I'm drawn to visiting one to getting questions answered, has any one else done this and how did it go?

Will it make me feel better about losing my mum?

Sorry for your loss OP, but a lot of these people exploit you and play on your emotions when you are feeling low. I mean, realistically, how can they answer any of your questions? It sounds as if you need to talk through your feelings of loss and that is something that a bereavement counsellor could help you with.

Oh please don't. I understand the urge but at best they may read you well and tell you what you want to hear (She's safe now and it doesn't hurt, she feels loved and without pain) or they'll fleece you and confuse you and leave you with more worry.

I probably agree with both of your points.

I'm very sceptical and even thought about using a false name so I can't be googled/face booked before it and I'm not an emotional person so I think I would find it easy to use my poker face!

I'm not sure what I'm looking for out of it. I have had a good recommendation from a trusted friend.
