My lovely MIL has died suddenly

Just that really. DP got the news this morning. Sudden, unexpected, shit.

DP has gone to his sister's for a few days to help sort things out, I am home alone with 3 year old DS and wondering if/how to tell him. She lived a few hours away so we only saw her every few months. I'm so sad that DS won't really remember her Sad
