Thankyou to all the lovely kind mumsnetter's who posted words and thoughts for myself and my daughter Sarah Jane 20. Sarah's dad committed suicide on Friday, she had only met him eight months ago. I was quite distraught and posted inappropriatly on the original thread. I asked MN HQ to delete it out of respect for my daughter. Please if anyone wishes to leave a message here for Sarah Jane and perhaphs say a prayer or light a candle for Stephen it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Sandra

Is she OK Mhamai? How is she dealing with it? Did the funeral go OK?

Are you OK about it?

Miaou · 20/01/2007 21:22

Oh missed this before ... so sorry to hear what happened Mhamai

Mhamai · 21/01/2007 17:10

Hi Boris, we are bearing up but it's very hard, life goes on but it will never be the same again iykwim, the funeral was very sad, very surreal but Stephen's family were very welcoming. I am so proud of Sarah Jane she has been so strong but I'm sure it hasn't even hit her properly yet. Anyway thankyou again for your post and thankyou Miaou.

So sorry for Sarah and for you, too, Mhamai - as her mother this must be hard for you.

Quootiepie · 21/01/2007 17:14

How did I miss this?? Mhamai - i'm glad the funeral went ok, thinking of you both {{hugs}} xXx

Mhamai · 21/01/2007 17:15

It's just such a waste edam, she had only got to know him but at least she did get to meet him again which is something, it's just knowing the ain she is in and feeling unable or helless to stop it.
