Today would have been my grandma's 100th birthday

She died last Easter, and I still miss her. It was definitely her time to go, she'd been ill for a while, and largely bed bound for the last couple of years of her life after breaking her hip.

I feel I should mark today in some way, but I'm not sure how.

I hear you, OP. In a few weeks time it would have been my grandmother's 110th birthday, she was 98 when she died & I miss her still.

Lovely idea to mark the day somehow. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions really except that when my grandmother died we planted one of her favourite kinds of tree in our garden. It flowers in spring and reminds me of her.
