Does length of bleed indicate how many weeks pg before mc?

I had an extremely heavy bleed (max absorbency towels saturated every 30 mins)for 63 days in the late spring/early summer this year and even on maximum strength hormone tablets from the gp the bleeding continued at level of a normal period. I didn't know I was pg as had only just stopped bf and was just waiting for my 1st period. Does the length and intensity of the bleed indicate how many weeks pg I might have been? I would like to know as am currently 12 wks pg and it would be helpful to know if I have passed the previous mc stage or not. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have not heard that it is related. I lost my Ds at 20wks and bled for 3 wks (21 days) but also had an infection with this, some of the placenta was left behind. Had my first period at 6 wks. A friend who bled for 6 wks, was finally scanned and some placenta was found and removed. 63 days seems v. long to me. INMHO I think you are past.

Thank you. FYI, I went on to have DS(2) 13 mths later, he is now 2.4. DD 5.6. Good luck with your pg.
