I don't really know why I'm posting this.

My lovely great nan died last night, she had bowel cancer. I know I'm so very lucky to have made it to 27 with a great nan still and she was so proud to be a great great nan to my baby son and I'm so pleased he got to meet her.

Cancer sucks :(

Flowers So sorry, nanny.

PS Is your user name in honour of her?? I remember you from a thread about moving in with in laws - am I right?

Ilovenannyplum · 27/02/2015 10:18

Yes, that's me (that's happening in march)
No, it's not, she was May not Plum Smile and very very lovely. She was very religious, so I'm going with the 'she's in a better, happier place and back with grandad who we sadly lost a couple of years ago'
Just so pleased I took DS on the journey to see her again, seeing her smile and happy to see him is how I'll remember her

Lovely way to remember her, nanny.

Be kind to yourself and I hope you can take things a bit easy this w/e.

Sorry to hear this. It's hard to lose someone close to us, whatever their age and relation. Lovely that she got to meet her great grandson.
