Advice re technicalities (and technology!) of funeral

We are currently planning my grandad's funeral (he died today Sad). I would like to contribute something personal but don't think I will manage to stand up and speak. I was wondering about a slideshow of photos instead. For Christmas I had bought him a digital photo frame loaded with photo of him, me, and other family members. He never got to see it as he was too poorly to open it ð??? I thought it might be fitting to show the photos at the funeral instead with some nice music to accompany it. I am pretty tech savvy and could also bring a projector screen and projector from work but wondered what people might be able to advise about the practicalities of this. I will of course speak to the crematorium and funeral dictator in advance but wondered if anyone has done this sort of thing before and did it go smoothly? I am fully aware that crematoriums have a strict schedule to keep to so I am not asking for extra time or anything like that, just wanting to be able to plan it as best I can. Thank you.

How about the slide show on a loop on the projector at the after funeral bit (don't like the word wake) we did this for my mum and our dd with there favourite music playing softly in the background. Everybody mentioned what a lovely idea it was.

Check with the crem but I fear you won't have time ( or inclination when you need to be properly " there" not playing with technology).

We have a 45 min slot for a 30 min service approx and then clearly a few mins to go in and out each end. It's very tight time wise and unless the crem have it all set up just to stick a memory stick in and go then I can't see it working.

I thinking about photos at the wake - not sure how yet.
