M/C - what to expect in the first month leading up to af?

I am new to this site, but found it really helpful during my mc which happened at the end of Aug (it was my second pregnancy, already have a ds).

Since the mc I have been having quite bad backache and other aches like my af is about to start but obviously it hasn't. I just wondered if this is normal as when I went back to the Hospital to check my hormone level a week after mc they said that I had an infection but that it didn't require treatment.

Would be grateful for any info.

I would say it is quite normal hun.
Your body has suffered a trauma and it is trying to get back to normal.
When it happened to me i had a horrendous period after the MC and i assumed that this was my body just having a good clear out, then i was pretty much back to normal.
Have you taken any painkillers yet?
