Every time I see an Eccles Cake, I burst into tears

I know the title is comic, sorry.

My DM adored an Eccles cake. The week before she died, I was grumbling because I had had to schlep to M&S to get her some Eccles cakes.

Now every time I see one of those things, I just cry. Instantly.

It is often the little things that bring back the memories and the grief.

Oh it is so hard. I had a tearful moment today seeing a box of black magic chocs in Tesco. Her favourites. My mum died 13 years ago, and today it felt like yesterday.

Big hugs lovely. Tis certainly difficult. X
