Before Mass yesterday Fr McNab approached me and told me that someone I did the church flowers with died on Friday. She was only in her early 50s, and apparently only knew she was ill for 4 weeks. I've never written a sympathy card before. Would you comment on this for me please?

Although I didn't know H for very long, I always enjoyed her company whenever we met.
