Do you appreciate your inlaws more or less?
I always used to get on ok with mil. Not bosum baddies but ok. However since my mum died i keep on compaaring her to my mum.
Eg my mum loved our dc the same but i can't help feeling mil has a favourite.
Guess i am also sad that our latest dc will never know either of my parents.
Is this normal and if so how do you reconcile it?

Less. She tried to replace my mum. Kept trying to have deep emotional conversations with me. Had to have dh tell her to fuck off.
