DS put his green token in the MS Society collection box.

My fabulous father in law had MS and sadly passed away before DS was born. It was such an unexpectedly poignant moment to see DS solemnly put his token in the box. It really took me by surprise.

Aw bless him, my step dad died in jan due to complications from ms. My brother got married in June and he of course mentioned our step dad in his speech and my eldest son (11) was in floods of tears, which made everyone else cry more seeing how sad he was, so I totally understand hiwnyoubfeel.

Did your DS know his grandad had had MS OP ? I.mean, was it chance he chose the MS box or was it thought about ?

DS is only 2. He had no idea. He must have thought his solemn mummy had turned into a crazy lady.
