Fair play Trin, that's an amazing achievement.

I hope you're feeling suitably proud of yourself Smile

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/07/2013 00:25

Cherry or apple fanta tastes best IMO.

Can you make balloons into funny shapes?

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 06/07/2013 08:56

I can make balloon dogs and giraffes (same as dogs but with longer necks!) if that helps Wink

TrinityRhino · 06/07/2013 08:57

Oooh yes balloon animals and all flavours of fanta Grin

TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIN!!!!

A whole year sober is absolutely fantastic. You would not have believed me would you if I'd have told you that you could so kick alcohol's ass a year ago when things were where they were?

In fact, you didn't. You said you couldn't do it, I told you you had to.

And after various other conversations, seeking and utilising other sources of help, hugs a plenty, and having the strength that Cliff gave you, backing you up, holding your hand the entire way along, YOU DID IT!

Look at you know kidda. I know you have lost the love of your life, I know that you lost two very special men, I know that you have had way more than your fair share of shit and pan and sorrow but look in the mirror Trin.

The woman you see looking back at you is the most amazing, strong, smart, funny, beautiful person ever. I'm honoured to know you.

You are a true inspiration to the entire world my lovely. I hope that you are okay, I'm sorry not to have been around for a day or so, Nemo is getting ready for 'big school' and life has been a bit hectic here.

Anyway, I wanted to say I am ever so proud of you, I hope that you are too and that I'm sending lots of love to you and the girls, and of course Lolly.

Big mwahs,

Mouse xxx :) xxx

greenhill · 06/07/2013 14:20

MelodyBaker · 08/07/2013 16:07

Hope your ok Trin, the weather is lovely at the moment. Perfect for all the Scottish Mners on half term.

Mouseface · 09/07/2013 12:48

Hey Trin*

I am soooooooooo hoping that you have the weather up there is as nice as it is here lovely lady :)

I take it that the schools there have finished now? Nemo has his leavers play/performance next Friday. He leaves Preschool NEXT FRIDAY!! I'm so wobbly about it, my little dude is growing up. Thankfully :)

So, how are we all? Looking forward to the summer hols? Or dreading them?

TripleB - are you on hols my lovely? You're missing the summer here!!! Typical! Grin

TrinityRhino · 09/07/2013 13:16

weather is stonkingly hot
I'm not complaining but I don't cope very well with this much heat
28 degrees yesterday and not far behind it today

I'm having cool showers and not moving much lol

the kids are loving it and the beema is a godsend in this weather

we are on day6 of the summer holidays......not that I'm counting lol

we're doing ok I think

house is a bit messier but also livelier and there is laughing and cuddles which can only be scored as a win

I'm taking antihistamines (one a day ones) in the hope that maybe I will be able to breathe at night sometime soon

....weird hayfever I thiink

thank you for all your kindness

OP posts:
greenhill · 09/07/2013 17:30

Does your hay fever get worse just before bedtime? And means that you struggle and wheeze at night?

Mine works like that: if you close all your windows at least an hour before dusk (when all the flowers such as stock release their pollen) you can open your windows again before you go to bed. Make sure you shut your curtains before the sun moves round to your room too. HTH.

I always imagine that your house is full of laughter and cuddles, no matter what x

MelodyBaker · 09/07/2013 20:43

26degrees here today. I've come out in a rash due to the heat. Blotches on my face!
Glad the girls are enjoying the holidays so far Smile. I'm sure your house is full of love Trin, no matter how bad things are.
look after yourself xx

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 09/07/2013 21:33

Have you been to the beach Trin? Bet the sea is still freezing (it is here in South Wales!).

Our ds's break up from school a week on friday - still got sports day and the summer fair to get through yet!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 10/07/2013 00:28

Mouse yeah was on hols for 3 days! And slogging back up through France in dusty, hot van full of dusty tools and offcuts yesterday and today! Had some lovely times with friends, (and lovelier without IYKWIM!)
Just got home tonight and no disasters in our absence with DS in charge - he even watered the garden!

Trin, lively, messy, laughing and cuddles has to be the best home any family could have, well done you darling girl Smile and [a little tear].

You've probably heard before and maybe tried, local honey for hay fever, if anyone keeps bees?
Ooh maybe you could try that Grin

magimedi · 10/07/2013 08:01

Messy house & laughter is just the recipe for a happy childhood.

Hope the heat doesn't get you down today.

Sounds hotter than S coast of England!!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 10/07/2013 09:11

Just noticed we're not far off 1000 posts!

Mouseface · 10/07/2013 15:30

Sounds fab Trin :) xxx

TrippleB - can your DS come to ours to water the garden please? We have a 2 week holiday coming up and the next door neighbour is rubbish at doing it! Half our plants die when were away. Sad

I spent this morning in the garden in the sunshine, without any interruptions, music on, iced water. It was lovely :) Plan to do the same at some point, maybe tomorrow when he's in preschool again in the afternoon..... time off whilst I can make the most of it :)

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 10/07/2013 17:54

Mouse that's so annoying to lose plants that you've nurtured, is there no-one else who could do it?

By the way Trin, I've been meaning to ask, what's "the beema"?
Hope everything is still lively and lovely, and sunny Smile
